Spicy Tandoori Salmon

My fave fish is Salmon, so when I bring it home for dinner, I try to do something different with it each time. Here is one I made today.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Salmon fillet
  • 4 – 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced chili ( you can add more or less depending on your own level of spicy-ness)
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp Tandoori powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Method:

Cut the whole salmon fillet into individual size smaller portions, wash and drain.

In a bowl mix up all the ingredients together and once the salmon has drained for about 10 minutes, add the salmon fillets to the mixture.

Let the salmon marinade for 30 minutes, then in a frying pan, heat a little oil and a tiny bit of butter. Once the oil and butter has heated, add the salmon fillets and cook on both sides for about 3-4 minutes.

Today I had it with potatoes, onions and green peppers, sauteed in garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and parsely, accompanied with a yogurt, mint and garlic sauce that tasted amazing together!
